Bwydydd o gwmaps y Byd – Food from all over the World

Mae gen i obsesiwn gyda bwyd. Nes i ddechrau addurno cwpanau hufen iâ papur gyda lluniau o fwyd o wahanol wledydd ledled y byd, oherwydd rwyf wedi ymweld â’r gwledydd hyn ac wedi teithio o amgylch y byd a blasu’r bwyd a choginio’r bwyd fy hun. Dw i’n hoffi blasu bwyd gwahanol. Fy hoff wlad ydy America achos mae’r bwyd mor lliwgar a chysurus. Dw i’n hoffi llun o fwyd achos mae’n gwneud i mi wenu, ac yn gwneud i mi feddwl am rywbeth mewn breuddwyd, fel ffilm, ffilm Disney neu achlysur arbennig. Pan dw i’n bwyta bwyd cysur, dw i’n teimlo’n saff, ddiogel a hapus.

Nes i gasglu y cwpanau hufen iâ ac yna dw i’n yn ymchwilio i goginio gwlad ac yn argraffu delweddau a’i dorri allan a’i gludo i’r cwpan hufen iâ, yn aml mae’r delweddau bwyd yn ymestyn i fyny mewn twr o’r cwpan ac mae’r holl cwpan wedi’i cofrio hyd yn oed odana fo.

Mae bwyd yn gysur i mi ac yn gwneud i mi deimlo’n saff a hapus, fel ffilmiau Disney a ffilmiau Nadolig.

I have an obsession with food. I started decorating paper ice cream cups with images of food from different countries around the world, because I have visited these countries and travelled around the world and tasted the food and cooked the food myself. I like tasting different food. My favourite country is America because the food is so colourful and comforting. I like picture of food because it makes me smile, and makes me think of something in a dream, like a film, a Disney film or a special occasion. When I eat comfort food I feel totally safe and happy.

I collected the ice cream cups and then I research the cuisine of a country and print out images and cut it out and glue it to the ice cream cup, often the food images extend upwards in a tower from the cup and the whole cup is covered even the underside.

Food is a comfort to me and make me feel safe and happy, like Disney films and Christmas films.

Nes i dynnu y llun yn gyntaf ac yna fe’i torrais yn bedwar darn a’u glynu wrth ei gilydd ac mae ymylon y llun yn ymuno i wneud patrwm parhaus. Mae’n fy atgoffa o jig-so a drychau mewn ffair sy’n gwneud chi’n dal.

To make the patterns below I watch a video on YouTube which gave me the instructions to make a repeat pattern. I first drew the picture then I cut it up into four pieces and stuck them together and the edges of the picture join up to make a continuous pattern. It reminds me of jigsaws and mirrors, mirrors in a fair which distort you making you tall.

PEINTIO GWYNEB – FACE PAINTING

Weithiau dw i’n peintio fy wyneb fel rhai fy hoff artist, sêr roc neu gymeriadau Disney. Dw i’n gwneud hyn oherwydd dw i’n ffan o’r artistiaid hyn ac mae’n fy atgoffa o fynd i ddigwyddiadau a gwyliau pan oeddwn yn iengaf yn cael fy wyneb wedi’i baentio neu datŵ ar fy mraich, roeddwn yn ifanc ac yn hapus. Dw i’n troi i mewn fy heros i ac yn fy mreuddwydion dw i’eu cyfarfod â mi ac yn dweud wrthyf “mae’n rhaid eich bod yn gefnogwr mawr ohonom!”, yna gyda’n gilydd fel superhero rydym yn achub y byd.

I sometimes paint my face like those of my favourite artist, rock stars or Disney characters. I do this because I am a fan of these artists and it reminds me of going to events and festivals when I was younger having my face painted or a tattoo on my arm, I was young and happy. I become these people and in my dreams I would they would meet me and say to me “you must be a big fan of us!”, then together like super heroes we would fight crimes.
