I spent a day with Tim Williams in the Mac Room.
I scanned a picture I made of a picnic feast of one of my imaginary charterers. The picture was of burgers, hot dogs and cheese. Then I coloured it in on the computer. I printed it out in parts and put it together like jigsaw. The colour look like something in water, reflecting. It is like a fantasy film, unreal.

A close up of the above image. The colours of this picture remind me of Vincent Van Goch the harvest field and Van Goch self portrait.

I painted in the picnic food picture, then I added a few collages of images found on a website of old photos that Tim found for me. I choose picture of creatures because they are cute and the one of space with stars because my name is Seren (Star). I put in the picture of bobbing for apples because it reminds me celebrating Halloween as a child. The background is perfect for the cat, frog and bobbing for apples, because I love the colours, better than black and white. It is just as beautiful as the colour of the rainbow.

I added red and a picture of a cat, I printed it out and I scrapped the red to show the picture of the cat underneath.

I made this photo by using an old fashioned camera, we had to cover our heads with a blanket, we had to put the lens in, press the button to take the photo and then we went to the printing room and dip the pictures in the chemicals and the photo was black and white.

I went on the computer, I got the picture of the cup cases. During the summer while working in Porthmadog, I went to a shop and bought cup cake cases because they were red with white dots reminding me of Emily on her festival wearing her polka dot dress and Minnie Mouse. I glued the cup cake cases to a piece of paper then I took a photo of this using a film . Then we took the film out , then I went in the printing room, dipped it in the chemicals and it came out black and white.

Here we are the five students taken with the large camera with the blanket and the lens and it came out black and white.

At the end of the photography tutorial, we all put our black and white photos on the wall to display them.
